The purpose The purpose of the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers Instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the basic-level American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers course.

This is a blended learning and in person session. You must complete the blended learning prior to the in person session.

Certification Requirements

Participants must: be 17 on or before the last day of class.

Attend the entire course.

Participate in all skill sessions and scenarios.

Demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios.

Complete 2 teach back assignments.

Pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80 percent.

Blended Learning only: complete all eLearning modules prior to the first in-person skill session
